Ripping Wii Games the Easy Way

As you are probably aware, purchasing brand new Wii games can be very expensive, and the price is always increasing. Furthermore, if you damage a game or have one lost or stolen, no one really wants to pay the cost of a new disk. Replacing a game, is, let's face it - no fun - especially when you consider you could easily use the money to buy that brand new game that you've been waiting months for.

Fortunately, you don't have to suffer these consequences. You can backup copies of your games and keep them forever, if you so chose. There are software programs that are available to download on the Internet that will allow you to copy your Wii games, or any games for any console, for that matter.

Some people keep their original games in a fireproof safe, so they will never have to replace another game when their copy gets stolen or scratched. You can keep an entire library locked safely away and never have to worry about shelling out money for that game again. Keeping backup copies is by far the best way to protect your investment.

There are literally hundreds of ways you can render your game unplayable, and as much as your try to protect them, stuff just happens sometimes. So instead of worrying about then that time may come, it makes more sense to make a small investment in a product that will keep from adding additional expense after expense when your dog uses your favorite game as a chew toy. And these products are easy and ready to download immediately - for the low cost of these programs, you really can't afford to waste much more time.

One of the biggest concerns about game owners is the frequency in which children get their hands on games. You may have younger siblings or a son or daughter. Unfortunately, no matter how much you tell them, they just don't get the concept of keeping a disk safe and clean. You have to be on top of them constantly. But if you rip copies instead, they are free to use and abuse the disks, considering replacing them is a pretty minimal cost. And let's not forget how difficult it is to protect Nintendo games from damage, as there is a very high chance that they will be scratched simply due to the way the console functions.

Another common complaint is when friends and guests leave games lying around to be scratched or broken. If you have ISO copies, this is a very minimal concern.

There are multiple functions that these software programs can perform. You will never have to stress out over your master copies or removing encryption codes, because these applications will do all the work for you. And better yet, it's not illegal.

So stop worrying about your master copies getting damaged or stolen, and simply get some software to take care of this problem. It is well-worth the investment and stress relief.

Copying Wii Games Is Easier Than Ever

Picture all the benefits there are to learning how to copy Wii games. Games are expensive, all gamers know that. This is just one of the primary reasons why it is so important to burn game disc backups. A major benefit of learning to do so includes backing-up your friend's discs so that you can both split the cost of the games down the middle. Forget about waiting in line and wasting your dough on these game discs. Another benefit: What about when a Wii game is damaged? You don't want to have to blow more dough to purchase a new one.

I'm going to give you a list, now, of things to round up before you get started copying games. Ready? Ok, you need a Wii game to copy. You need a blank DVD+/- R. You'll need a PC or Mac to utilize. The PC or Mac needs to have a DVD+/- R burning drive installed on it. And then you need an installation of some great game backup software on the computer.

Now, which of those above components do you think makes the magic happen? If you said the special copying application, then you're absolutely correct. You see, the game manufacturers install strong security encryption on their games. Ostensibly, it's to prevent piracy. But in fact, it prevents gamers from backing up their games as is their legitimate right. There are several different types of this software, made by a handful of firms around the globe. Cost is all over the board, as are features. Do your homework, and you'll find the best one for you situation.

I highly recommend choosing a program that will work for all console discs. Some only work for the Wii, and that's fine. However, if you're going to spend the money anyway, you might as well get one that'll work for all consoles - like the Xbox 360 for instance. You never know when an Xbox loving friend will ask you to help him out. Another thing to keep an eye open for is a program that can handle foreign region discs. The only thing that makes a lot of foreign region discs unplayable for you is the encryption. If the software that you buy can strip that type of encryption also, then you might be able to get deals on foreign games on eBay and take advantage of that.

You will also need to have an optical drive on your computer, as I mentioned previously. But not just any drive. It should be a DVD+/- RW that was made in the last 2 years. Otherwise, it might not be able to read the Wii discs properly.

When you have purchased the utility, your next step will be to install it on the PC. The utility, will then guide you through the process of taking the game data off of the Nintendo Wii disc, stripping away the encryption on it, and prompting you to put in a blank DVD to burn the game onto.

This process is exceedingly simple and it should only take you a few minutes. The utility will rip every last piece of data off of the Nintendo Wii game and copy it on your PC. You'll load the new CD in the CD drive and in no time flat, you'll have yourself a Wii game. Insert it in your Wii and it should function exactly like the master disc you utilized.

Learning how to copy Wii games is a very simple process and is hassle-free. It involves almost no time at all and, even though the app costs a bit of money, it lets you save you a whole lot more. Grab the app as soon as you can and begin being able to buy more than your budget ever made possible for you before!

Wii James Bond Goldeneye 007

One of the first of the "first person" shooter genre games is now on Wii with Golden Eye 007. Bond is definitely back and the transfer to Wii has worked absolute wonders for this game.

Many, many console games have tried to copy early versions of this game. The original and seminal first person shooter game is indeed a classic, but this remake takes the game to new heights. Whilst the look and feel of the original has been kept in tact, it really has been brought firmly into the 21st Century with a stunning graphics makeover and of course, Daniel Craig takes on the mantle of Bond.

As you start playing there are heavy reminders of the old Nintendo 64 game, and this adds to the atmosphere greatly. There is definitely added complexity, surprises and guess work needed, but the game keeps that superb balance it had as far as the mix of action and stealth are concerned. The graphics upgrade work is outstanding, some of the best I've seen on the Wii platform.

I believe I am right in saying that the original game was the first to offer the four-player split-screen mode of play. And of course that aspect of the game play is kept very much alive - thankfully. And indeed, it plays even better in this version. There is also an online version that, amazingly, offers an eight-player mode!

So, to the game itself. The mission is to stop the renegade 00-agent Janus, as you return to such iconic Bond scenes as Arkhangelsk, Monte Carlo and St. Petersburg.

I think the old Nintendo 64 game was some way ahead of its time. I do like the way this new version pays tribute to that old game. I was trying to explain the importance of that game to my nephew and whilst he didn't really understand it wasn't long before he knew he was playing a tier one first-person shooter. He loved the layers of complexity coupled with the great action.

This is the best bond game ever and the most loved first person shooter games of all time is returning with a world of new features.

Thunderball is the new enhanced and upgraded single-player mode. With new, complex yet subtle storylines and massive upgrade on the graphics.

Screen Giants is the new classic four-player splitscreen multiplayer mode and it contains all of your favorite, levels, weapons and classic Bond villains such as Odd Job and Jaws.

If you're a Bond of first-person shooter fan, this game works on every level. Wii Golden Eye 007 has it all and is a wonderful mix of action and intelligence with plenty of unexpected twists and turns. Whatever your gaming preference, this is an outstanding game that you should definitely have a go at.
